Dawn Henley
Certified Athletic Therapist
Dawn Henley is a Certified Athletic Therapist with a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals in sport, work, and daily life. Her interest in athletic therapy began during her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley, where a personal injury introduced her to the rehabilitation process. As a student trainer with the Cascades varsity women’s basketball team, she gained four years of hands-on experience, traveling across Canada and internationally to India, which solidified her commitment to the profession.
Following her undergraduate degree, Dawn completed the Post-Bachelor Athletic Therapy program at Mount Royal University. There she expanded her clinical and fieldwork expertise, developing an adaptable treatment style tailored to each client’s needs. Her approach emphasizes individualized rehabilitation plans that support pain reduction, improved mobility, and a safe return to activity or sport.
Outside of her professional work, Dawn is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, and running. Originally from a small town in British Columbia, she continues to carry her love of the outdoors into her daily life, often training for races or spending time outside with her dog.
