Certified Athletic Therapist

Micah Reim is a Certified Athletic Therapist with a strong background in both clinical practice and fieldwork. His interest in athletic therapy began in high school after experiencing firsthand the benefits of treatment for sports-related injuries. This early exposure shaped his commitment to helping others achieve their goals through rehabilitation and performance optimization.

He holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and a Professional Degree in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University. Since graduating, Micah has gained extensive experience working with rugby, football, hockey, soccer, and judo programs, as well as in private clinical settings. His practice emphasizes continual learning, with advanced training in neurological performance, concussion management, and movement-based rehabilitation techniques.

Alongside his clinical work, Micah serves as an Athletic Therapist with the University of Calgary Varsity Department and as a practicum supervisor for Mount Royal University’s Athletic Therapy program. These roles keep him closely engaged with emerging research and evolving best practices in the field.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Micah is an avid climber and outdoor enthusiast, balancing his clinical work with time spent climbing, backpacking, and coaching curling during the winter months.
